207 Avoiding Christian Counseling TrapsTwo dynamics present in each counseling session are identified and explored in this lesson. Every person you see excites unique feelings in you just as you excite unique feelings in them. These dynamics create a process that sets up counseling traps which can damage or destroy the counselor- counselee relationship. Five of these traps are identified and explored in this lesson: the stress trap; the voyeuristic trap; the "me too trap;" the rescuer trap; and, the love trap.
